DOUG LUCEY – FROM SOLICITOR TO COMMISSIONER FOR OATHS
- To begin, in 1990 I graduated from UCC with a BCL Degree (Honours)
- I later studied at Blackhall Place and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1994
- Then I practised as a solicitor, and remain a member of the Law Society of Ireland
- The Chief Justice of Ireland subsequently appointed me as a Commissioner for Oaths
- These days I actively practice as a Commissioner for Oaths, but not as a Solicitor
- And so, from my base in Coachford, I serve Cork city and county
- Actively offering unique services (not just part-time, or an aside to something else)
- My experiences with legal and official documents are of benefit
- And my skills benefit those having forms to be signed, certified, sworn, or witnessed
